A Rewards Points summary box will appear next to the payment summary box. The details in the Rewards Points summary box are as follows:

  • Opening Rewards Points balance: This means Rewards Points (if any) carried forward from your previous HSBC credit card statement.
  • Rewards Points earned. This means Rewards Points earned in the current billing cycle and accumulated at Rewards Management Middle East Limited.
  • Rewards Points transferred: this means Rewards Points transferred to your exclusive Rewards Points account.
  • Closing Rewards Points balance: this means Rewards Points (if any) carried forward to your next HSBC credit card statement.
A minimum spend of 30,000 My Rewards Points per booking is required, so tickets for multiple passengers can be booked at the same time. Travel rewards can be booked for members themselves or for anyone else they choose, provided the traveler/s have the relevant documentation and identification to utilize the booking. Once a booking is made with a registered name, the traveler’s name cannot be changed. Infant tickets must be booked at the same time as the accompanying adult ticket is redeemed. Infants cannot be booked separately and or added on to an existing booking at a later stage.

Provided members have registered their email address with us, they will receive a monthly statement which provides details on their account activity including any Rewards Points that are due to expire. The last monthly statement that will be sent will be beginning of June 2023 and you will have until 30th June 2023 to redeem any My Reward Points before the MRP Oman Programme will be closed and all remaining points will expire.

You can call our Customer Service centre on +968 24762762 between 9am to 6pm (Oman time) from Sunday to Thursday, excluding Government and National holidays to check your account balance updated until 30 June 2023.

Also, your monthly HSBC credit card statement will reflect the number of Rewards Points you have collected during the month, the month of June will be the last statement to include My Reward Points

Cancellations made within 72 hours of your departure time result in the Air Reward ticket being forfeited. Forfeited tickets are not valid for travel and are non-refundable. However, eligible taxes can be refunded to your payment card upon request. Following the announcement of the MRP Oman program closure, miles refunds related to the cancellation and amendment of travel rewards can only be processed until 30 June 2023, while credit card refunds can only be processed until 16th August 2023.

Cancellations and refunds are subject to airline conditions.

Cancellations must be made at least 72 hours prior to departure by calling the My Rewards Points Travel Support Team, on +968 24762762 between 9am to 6pm (Oman time) from Sunday to Thursday, excluding Government and National holidays.

A cancellation fee of OMR 18 applies to each cancellation, per passenger, for flight bookings paid using miles only or miles + cash. This fee is in addition to any fees applied by the applicable airline.

A cancellation fee of OMR 5.30 applies to each cancellation, per passenger, for flight bookings paid using cash only. This fee is in addition to any fees applied by the applicable airline.

Child tickets can only be redeemed if an accompanying adult ticket is being redeemed at the same time.
